With two Hurricane 5.9’s in Crosshaven's RCYC and Eddie English’s Hobies 18, 16 and 14 in Cobh and a Dart 18 in Monkstown, the Cork Harbour catamaran fleet is growing in numbers. We have a number of interested people in the RCYC who are on the verge of jumping in to Hurricane 5.9’s, but getting them to part with the money is the trick. Jim Sheeran has put in his order for a new hurricane 5.9 (464) and is looking forward to seeing that boat in a few weeks, so we should have three 5.9s racing within the harbour in a month.

We’ve ordered a new set of sails and are looking forward to the next event, and we hope to get two Hurricanes on the road from Cork.
